Not satisfied

Carpet Town fitted our carpet, which we were very happy with until we realised they had not put the television wires underneath. We assumed they'd do it as part of common sense (as the wires were underneath the original carpet), but this was not the case. We phoned to discuss the issue and were told they'd come out for us in the new year and resolve it without charge. However when my husband called again to check when they would come out, he was spoken to very rudely by someone who said there was no way they'd come out without charging us because 'what's in it for them?' Satisfied customers is what would be in it for them! I phoned again to speak to a manager and was told they would charge us £45. I did not think they were that cheap in the first place in comparison to Carpet Giant, who my sister used. I would not use them again after how badly this was handled - and had they done it without a cost, we would have used them for the hallway even though we knew they weren't the cheapest.
