• Great, Just to say thanks really!

  I used to have yearly consultations with David Baddeley as a child when he practiced in Ruislip and have since recently visited his practice in Harefield. He is very thorough and explains all the testing equipment he used to identify any problems. I would recommend him to anyone and if you read this as a previous Ruislip'arian then go that extra mile, literally, to Harefield (even free parking there haha). I will be back next year & thanks to you for your care and consideration during my eye-test and to Elizabaeth, thank you for your help in chosing my new frames!

• Good advice and a very professional service

  I consulted David Baddeley in 2009 since my vision had deteriorated over time. After a thorough examination I was told that I would need replacement glasses to improve my close up vision. David's clear explanation during the examination and subsequent diagnosis, and answers to my follow up questions, inspired confidence. The lenses used in the spectacles I subsequently purchased were of high quality and are very comfortable for day-to-day use. My wife too has now consulted David, and is equally satisfied with her new spectacles. Thank you for the excellent service.

• Total commitment to your vision

  My eyesight is precious to me, and it seems to be precious to Harefield Opticians too. The last glasses they sold me still work well; after their usual rigorous testing the prescription has not changed, so rather than try to sell me something I do not need they spent the time discussing all the options I might want to consider in the future for Drivewear, UV protection etc.

  I was recommended by a friend to visit David Baddeley.David is a perfectionist ,he is very thorough when testing my eyes & explained to me clearly regarding different lenses. Elizabeth gave me good advice when choosing my new frame . She is efficient & friendly . Thank you for the excellent service .

• The Consummate Professional

  Having used my standard reading glasses for many years, the passage of time warranted an immediate change as the field of focus was diminishing and reading matter was less clear. David was both reassuring and professional in sorting out my optical issues. However, the new glasses had a small optics issue and David (in his usual way) sorted it out. I am thrilled to wear my new glasses and applaud David's care and professionalism at all times.

• Positive Feedback

  First visited Harefield Opticians 2 years ago and was very pleased with the service David and Elizabeth give and range of glasses they have available. I was really impressed with all the “Technical Gizmo’s” David uses to check your eyesight, far superior to the piece of card over the eye method. The varifocal glasses I purchased are excellent and to which he added an optional integrated magnetic sunglass fitment, almost invisible. Really brilliant., so much better than the old clip on flip ups!! My wife and daughter have also moved to the Harefield Opticians and are both very happy customers. Just need to entice my son and you will have the whole family on board. Was recently contacted for regular eye check up and all found to be OK, looked at some new style frames but no pressure to buy there and then Must drop by and get that extra pair of glasses I liked which I can use for those special occasions. Thanks again for an excellect service

• Professionalism of the highest

  I first went to David and Liz about 10 years ago when they were in Ruislip and I worked overseas. Besides providing me with outstanding service on the selection of multi-focal lenses, sunglasses and frames, David picked up, using equipment not generally available in this country, a problem in one of my eyes which could have led to glaucoma. He recommended I attend a top eye professor, and using eye drops, the condition has stabilised. Now David is responsible for the on-going monitoring using his state of the art technology, which gives me a feeling of security and confidence.

• Perfectionist ( A very rare find).

  I feel it is important to offer praise when I receive exceptional service. Whilst living in Ruislip about 20 years ago, I was recommended to have my eyes examined by David Baddeley, as I was unable to see as well as expected with glasses prescribed by another optcian. He gave me a very thorough eye test, paying attention to every detail, resulting in an accurate computation for lenses, enabling me to see perfectly. Both David and I strive for perfection. So when he moved, I followed him to his new premises, (Harefield Opticians) in High Street Harefield, which I found equipped with the very latest technology. I have recommended David to many friends and colleagues, all of whom were delighted with his courtesy and expertise.

• Best Quality Care

  Harefield Opticians is without a doubt the best opticians I've ever been to. Unlike my previous opticians (a large national chain), David is very thorough when testing. Everything I need to know about my eyes was explained to me very clearly. When choosing my lenses, I was given all my various options and went for the best lenses suited to me, professionally recommended by David. My Calvin Klein glasses with Nikon enhanced reading lenses, came back very quickly and have since been very happy with them since. They allow me to read a page clearly as well as to focus well on my computer screen (to write this review)! I will most definitely be going back to David and the team at Harefield Opticians when I am next due an eye test. The service given is outstanding (far better than any "chain opticians"!

• Excellent Caring Service

  My husband and I have been seeing David for a number of years and then lost contact. Whilst waiting in the Post Office I saw his name on an advert for Harefield Opticians and was delighted to find him again. We both attended for an eye test and the whole process was excellent. The receptionist was efficient and friendly, the eye test was on time, all aspects thoroughly explained and the glasses supplied as agreed. We are both delighted with our new glasses. The after care service is fantastic too - e.g. my husband lost a nose grip and was immediately supplied with a spare which was fitted straightaway. Thank you David. Steve and Barbara Lemmon
